Gearing up to serve underprivileged youth to lead a better life
The design of buildings, structures, and products fascinates me. I am addicted to and an avid learner of Autodesk Fusion 360, a computer-aided design tool. I love making models and prototypes by hand. I love to play with combining many shapes in a structure and study the strength of the design. I spend hours and days conceiving, hand-drawing, and iterating over the design in Fusion 360. I feel a sense of freedom and purpose when I design something worthy of sharing.
I have put together a portfolio of my designs here.Â
Soccer
I (jersey #21) started my soccer journey at age five in San Ramon, CA, playing for San Ramon FC. Twelve years of four to six hours of weekly commitment to soccer made it a critical element of my lifestyle and approach to life. Playing at the Elite Club National League (ECNL) championship finals for Charlotte (NC) Soccer Academy in San Diego, CA, is the pinnacle of my efforts. Though we did not win that tournament, my soccer journey continues.
Ekipi (www.ekipi.org) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides sporting equipment and training to underprivileged youth worldwide. I am a volunteer with Ekipi for four years. I lead the receiving, sorting, storage, and preparation of shipments of donated sports equipment to the beneficiary organizations. We handle about five hundred donated sports items per year.
